Baldor, a member of the ABB group, a global leader in power and automation technologies, is seeking an Account Manager/Outside Sales Rep in East Central Nebraska. Baldor Electric Company/ABB is the leading designer and manufacturer of industrial electric motors, drives and mechanical power transmission equipment. Baldor/ABB sells and supports distributors, original equipment manufacturers and end users, world wide. Their products are produced in 26 plants in the US, Europe, Canada, England, Mexico and China. Baldor Great Plains, is the sales office/support center and warehouse for the region covering Nebraska, Kansas and part of Missouri.

 

Duties:
Essential duties and responsibilities include managing existing accounts, as well as growing new business. The Account Manager will be expected to familiarize themselves with current customer business and their industrial motor, motor control and power transmission equipment needs. Gaining an understanding of their current and potential applications is a must. The Account Manager will be expected to make sales calls to current clients, as well as seek out new business opportunities.

 

Qualifications:
Baldor Great Plains takes pride in providing quick response time and the best service possible to its customers. Candidates must possess an electrical and mechanical aptitude and have the ability to advise customers on the application, selection and specification of electrical motors, drives and related products. Candidate must also possess: Related B.S. Degreee Excellent presentation, verbal and written skills Be a self starter, have the ability to multi-task and work independently.
