We are currently seeking multiple Epicor Eclipse Integration Trainers. It is preferred the employee be based out of either Dubuque, Iowa or out of a large metropolitan area near a major airport. The Epicor Eclipse Integration Trainer will complete learning management system courses and participate in Eclipse training to become an Eclipse champion. The individual will travel to branches to offer pre go-live, go-live and post go-live support as we convert to the Eclipse ERP system from a legacy mainframe tool. Primary Duties: Prepare and teach classes to branch personnel on the Epicor Eclipse package and Crescent Electric Operating Procedures. Become proficient in understanding company processes explained in the Crescent Electric Operating Procedures (CEOP’s). Offer suggestions for improvements in CEOP’s and define, create and teach CEOP’s to employees when necessary. Communicate branch concerns back to the Eclipse Core team for review. Complete Electrical Distributor Guided Education (EDGE) training program. Work with Branch and District Management to ensure go-live checklists are completed on time and expectations are met for a successful conversion. Lead, train, mentor and coach during conversion and go-live activities. Provide support to all responsible functional areas of Crescent Electric Supply sales and distribution centers during go-live transition. Represent Crescent Electric in an ethical and professional manner that will reflect favorably on the reputation of both the employee and company.
Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Epicor Eclipse experience is a plus. Individual must possess strong PC skills and be comfortable with learning and teaching new technologies. Must have the ability to work quickly and accurately within time constraints and against deadlines. In addition, must possess strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, be a self-starter, detail oriented, and have the ability to multitask and communicate effectively with diversified branch personnel. Must have the ability and interest to train and maintain patience and professionalism during stressful situations. Must be able to communicate effectively with all staff possessing varying levels of computer skill. Must be comfortable with flying and travel. There is a high level of travel expected (approximately 75%) during conversions to Eclipse over 24-30 month implementation schedule. Some weekends may be required. Must be comfortable with public speaking. No more than two moving violations in the previous twelve months and no more than four in the last three years. No major preventable accidents in the last three years. Violations of reckless driving, exceeding the speed limit in excess of 20 m.p.h. and driving under the influence are not acceptable.
