Ferguson’s internship program is an intense 10 week program that takes place during the summer time frame. Over the course of the internship, you will be exposed to all aspects of our business. Ferguson approaches training from a “hands on” point of view. We believe in growing our associates from the ground up. Through our internship program, you will be introduced to the warehouse and counter where you will gain credibility and learn extensive product knowledge in a short period of time. You will also be given the opportunity to explore our sales, operations, and credit departments. You will learn the value of developing and maintaining customer relationships as well as understand our business from a “big picture” perspective. Our internship program will allow you to explore your own strengths and career interests. Most of all, our internship program will provide you with real, hands-on business experience that will supplement your classroom education. The internship is paid on an hourly basis, based upon cost of living in the Omaha area. Ferguson is not responsible for the costs incurred during relocation to internship location or for housing expenses during the 10-week duration of the internship program.
