Bolts Etc., a division of GT Midwest, is seeking an inside sales professional with 1-2 years customer service rep OR supply chain buyer experience in industrial fastener (non-military / non OEM) for our location in Omaha, NE.

GT Midwest is a leading, privately owned, industrial products and service provider since 1946. Our corporate headquarters is located in Wichita, Kansas with a network of 4 branches across 3 states.

Critical to this role is providing support to our customers by:

  1. MUST be a highly-engaged team playing, willing to get the job done with unwavering customer satisfaction, professionalism and business ethics
  2. Superb interpersonal relation skill set with a passion for customer service
  3. Process customer orders, responding to inquiries, developing quotes and maintaining parts; up-selling, suggestive selling, volume selling in anticipation of customer needs
  4. Communicate with customers regularly throughout the sales cycle and more broadly to ensure their needs are being met
  5. Provide support to customers on building sales forecasts, delivery status, order fulfillment and expediting
  6. Must have the ability to perform outside sales functions as well as warehouse/operations when necessary to ensure business objectives are met
  7. Provide feedback to outside sales and leadership on customer service satisfaction issues
  8. Exceptional time management skills are necessary in this fast-paced, high-demand environment
  9. Works closely with Outside Sales to enter orders and support customers’ needs
 

Qualifications

 Successful candidates should have 2 or more years in a customer service rep OR supply chain buyer capacity with 1-2 years of experience with industrial /fastener (nonmilitary / non OEM) products.

Highly Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze technical information and communicate
  • Experience with a CRM, such as: Tour de Force, Sales Force, inventory management software
  • Microsoft Office: Emphasis on Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Spanish speaking
