NMC is looking for an Electric Power Sales Representative at our Omaha, NE location. The primary responsibility of this position will be to establish and maintain relationships with new and existing customers in order to promote the sale of Electrical Power Generators and associated equipment within the assigned territory.
1. Research and prepare quotes and information for customers.
2. Contact existing and potential customers to sell products and services, ensure customer satisfaction with existing products, and expand customer base.
3. Assist with the scheduling of deliveries of equipment.
4. Establish rapport and maintain contact with customers and prospects.
5. Perform other duties as assigned by management
6. Use Saleslink (CRM Tool) as a means to manage the sales territory and update customer information as needed.
7. Capacity to enteract with Engineers and Contractors
8. Provide forecasts as directed by management
Basic Knowledge of industrial engines, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.Basic knowledge of electricity and electrical systems. Electrical background is desirable. Strong oral, written, and verbal communication skills required. Person must be self-driven, reliable and have high personal integrity. Successful candidate will have the ability to relate to different personalities and be able to provide optimal customer service. Must have a valid drivers license and an acceptable driving record. Basic computer skills required, with a proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Professional phone skills, excellent work ethic, multi-tasking skills and good decision making skills are required. High organization skills as well as an excellent ability for communication with customers and coworkers at many different levels is required. Demonstrate the ability to close deals. Ability to read and understand information and ideas.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree in a business related field preferred. 2-5 years of industry sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
