Position Purpose: • Works with Sales to identify and develop new sales opportunities. • Interacts with customers and vendors to increase sales and customer satisfaction. • Supports staff to promote increased project efficiency. Manages project activity, including sourcing and vendor quotation requests, and related documentation. Tracks project status/progress in an organized and accessible manner. Provides necessary follow-up with customers, suppliers and staff to support timely conclusion to projects. • Provides technical support to inside staff. • Works with Quality personnel to facilitate production of quality-related documentation for company and/or customer use. • May include definition and/or performance of test-related activities, in-house or otherwise. • Special assignments, as needed
Requirements: • High School Diploma minimum, Post –Secondary degree/certificate in technical field preferred • Ability to travel, including overnight and multiple-night trips. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel • Mechanical aptitude, with the ability to understand and support customer technical needs. • Ability to interpret blueprints/drawings/CAD designs (2- and 3-D) • Be able to work effectively with all levels of Company staff. • Be able to work effectively with customers and vendors to identify solutions and resolve issues. Experience: • Industry experience preferred
