Duties:
We are seeking rising seniors to participate in our Distribution & Services (D&S) Summer Internship Program.  The Distribution & Services Summer Internship Program is a 12-week assignment that promises you a unique hands-on opportunity to learn the electrical distribution business as well as develop professionally.  The D&S Summer Program interns will be assigned to a Gexpro or Rexel Inc. branch location.  Through a series of diverse assignments, our interns are exposed to warehouse logistics, inside sales, outside sales, purchasing, inventory and operations.  All assignments are a value-add for the business and developmental for the individual.

 

Your D&S Summer Internship Program success is measured by your performance as well as manager feedback.  Successful summer interns are asked back to participate in our full time Distribution & Services Leadership Program (DSLP) upon college graduation which leads to various post-program opportunities including outsides sales, operations specialists, sourcing and inventory roles.

 

Qualifications: 

Strong leadership, self-starter, mature, self-confident, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, analytical abilities and problem- solving skills. In addition, preferred candidates are assertive, team players, creative, entrepreneurial, and willing to relocate. Relevant internship/co-op experience preferred. Students must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA.
