Duties:
Our Sales Internship Program is a 10 week exploration that provides a well-rounded, real-world look into what it means to be a sales professional at Victaulic. Sales Interns begin their journey at our corporate headquarters in Easton, PA for the first half of the internship program. For five weeks at headquarters, they receive sales training and complete several rotations through key departments that support our sales force. The interns’ time is spent gaining the product knowledge and sales foundation they need to be prepared for what they will experience in the field. At the completion of the corporate rotations, sales interns spend the next four weeks in the field, shadowing sales representatives and managers, applying their knowledge and actively participating in sales activities. The 10th and final week is spent back at corporate headquarters for final presentations and wrap up. Field assignments and locations will be determined by the program facilitators. Sales Interns should expect to participate in the following activities throughout the program: Exposure to sales support departments such as Sales Training, Marketing, Customer Care, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations Hands-on training and exposure to Victaulic products Sales Calls Site Visits Sales Presentations Competitive Analysis Training and coaching in sales skills and problem solving techniques

 

 

Qualifications:
Major: Marketing, Industrial Distribution, Sales, Engineering, Communications, Business, or related Interest in developing presentation skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to collaborate well with a team Must be graduating in December 2015 or May 2016 to be considered Must be able to commit to the full 10 week program
