Summary Our training program is for recent or soon to be graduates who desire a career in sales. After successful completion of your training, you’ll be given the opportunity to manage your own territory as an Account Manager with SunSource Essential Goals of the Program: Through the collaboration of highly talented associates and managers who will be focused on developing your professional sales skills for long-term success, you will complete a 12 month rotational sales and technical training program to prepare you for a career in sales. Skills to Succeed:

•B.S. Degree in Industrial Distribution, Engineering, Sales and Marketing or 2 year fluid power or Mechatronic degree

•Strong ambition to pursue a career in industrial sales

•Self-motivated to take responsibility for your personal development

•Mechanical interest and aptitude •Related internship or co-op strongly preferred

•Willingness to relocate required to be considered


Specific training includes:

•Rotational immersion within sales support functions

•Joint sales calls with Account Managers

•Building internal relationships with key support teams, product managers, and technical experts

•Ongoing sales, technical, product and capability training •Interaction with key supplier partners through on-site training

•Hands on product application training

•Time and Territory Management Strategy

•Overcoming objections through daily telephone sales calls while working towards a monthly and annual sales goal

•Interaction with customers through problem solving their specific issues and needs
