The Outside Sales Recruit will be responsible for successfully completing all coursework to meet the training requirements in preparation for a position in Outside Sales. The sales representative is responsible for overall sales growth for specific accounts and all potential customers within a dedicated sales territory after successful completion of a five month training program at the corporate headquarters in Farmers Branch, Texas. Sales territory will be assigned towards the end of training.


Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field is desired but not required. Preferred degree: Industrial Distribution EXPERIENCE: 1 to 3 years of related sales experience in the assigned product category or bachelor’s degree in related technical field. SKILLS & ABILITIES: Some of the following skills and abilities may not be well developed until after completing the five month training program. Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to read, draw and decipher hydraulic schematics Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical concepts to product solutions Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with engineers and technical designers to determine and deliver appropriate customer solutions Ability and desire to work independently without direct supervision Ability to persuade and influence others through excellent verbal, written and presentation skills Beginner to intermediate proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
